"This Should Be Easy."

Those were the words Chloe spoke after Peggy and I sat down with her this morning to discuss her allowance, and what she has to do to receive it. For the record, her chores are to: feed Chamberlain; feed Chad Dillon Cooper (the fish); clean her room; and clear the table after meals.

After she spoke those words – and after Peggy and I chuckled – we also let her know that not only must she do those things, but she must remember to do them. Once that was explained, we got the sense Chloe may have wanted to take back those words a bit.

So we'll just have to wait and see how things go.
